This is the man who insult SBY ( indonesian president)


The name of the Republic of South Maluku separatist organization (RMS) re-sticking-related sudden cancellation of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's visit to the Netherlands. Who is John Wattilete?

Men's full name Johannes Gerardus Wattilete born in 1955 in the Netherlands. He is of mixed blood from the father who comes from South Moluccas and his mother Dutch.

In 1983 he graduated from the Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen (Catholic University of Nijmegen). Everyday he worked as a lawyer at legal firm, Wattilete Advocaten in Amsterdam.

He joined the youth organization of Maluku in the Netherlands. In 1993 he served as one of the administrators. RMS position in the increasingly uphill. Since 1995 he held a post in the cabinet as Minister of Public Affairs RMS.

In 1999 he had gone to Indonesia, even twice. He went as a delegation with the pastor Otto Matulessy RMS. On 18 October, they met with President Habibie. He also briefly met with President Abdurrahman Wahid on 16 December. The meeting was related to Islamic and Christian conflict in Maluku.

April 2003, John Watilete, replaces Pieter Thenu as Prime Minister and concurrently Vice President of RMS. In April 2009, John Francis Tutuhatunewa Wattilete replace 85-year-old as the President of RMS.

He never made the statement that 'some relief' the Indonesian government. In an interview with Dutch newspaper, Nederlands Dagblad, Wattilete states RMS does not necessarily fighting for the independence of South Maluku. He said, the RMS is now willing to accept a special autonomy like Aceh.
