In addition Indomie instant noodles, brown sugar and sweets from Indonesia also declined and participate in raids hit Taiwan. If Indomie rejected because of suspected to contain E218 (Methyl P-Hydroxybenzoate) food preservatives in the product but not so with the brown sugar and sweets from Indonesia.

"Sugar candy red and raided because the findings come in there she said there is bleach in large numbers," says Head of Trade of Indonesia Economic and Trade Office (KDEI) Mulyatno Bambang told reporters after a working meeting (Meeting) with the Commission VI (Trade Commission) House of Representatives in the parliament building in Jakarta of Indonesia on Monday (10/11/2010).

Asked the name of brown sugar and candy products from Indonesia who rejected Taiwan, Bambang not willing to explain. "Ah, do not," he said.

According to Bambang's three products namely Indomie, candy, and brown sugar are a few months ago reported by the Taiwanese to Indonesian Economic Trade Office (KDEI) in Taiwan.

"This case emerged and submerged. Can we also think might be situational. So, if raw materials did not exist, it is used (the product)," said Bambang.

Nevertheless, this problem has been asked and consulted to KDEI. "They (the Taiwanese) have sent a question to us and has been answered, so far only limited questioning. And we want to say this must be completed," said Bambang.

These include, KDEI ask the competent authority in Taiwan who might those who "play" in this case because the suspected case will not stand alone. "We consult anyone about the players. And, maybe they (the authorities of Taiwan) is not willing to answer because they protect the importer," he said.

Bambang admitted could have been the product, especially Indomie, contain preservatives E218 (Methyl P-Hydroxybenzoate) because of contamination in the process of distribution and transport on the ship. "It could be yes," said Bambang.

Earlier, Secretary General of Food and Beverage Association of Indonesia (Gapmmi) Franky Sibarani say in the process of delivery of products suspected to be contaminated with other products. "And this stuff (Indomie contaminated) comes into the shop and then consumed by people," said Franky.

According to him, in a report received by it before Lebaran early September 2010, Taiwan has launched mentioned about the findings and time to be checked at that time a number of facts found. "It turns out that (Indomie) came to Taiwan are not exported directly from the manufacturers," said Franky
